Jean Louis Baroux has been involved in the air travel Industry for the past 33 years , where he held successively different positions. He was appointed Marketing Director at Air Inter where he introduced the "Bleu Blanc Rouge" a tarif segmentation concept revolutionary in those days. He then became Sales Director at Trans Air Regions and was in charge of the representation of the airline in Paris.

In 1983, he founded Europe Air Promotion, to became later the Air Promotion Group, a company specialised in Airlines' services and representation. Jean Louis is presently the President & CEO of Air Promotion Group and Manager Director of Air Promotion Development, a consulting company in air travel industry.

In 1992 he helped create the APG Association, a non for profit organization devoted to the development of the distribution of airlines ' products in strict cooperation with IATA.

APG A is today a worldwide organization present in 52 countries.

Founder and leader of the Cannes Airlines Forum, a yearly event reaching now its 14th year, he takes great interest in innovations in the air travel industry.

In 1998 created CAF (Conférences Aériennes Françaises) and became its Managing Director.

In November 2002 was appointed by the French Under Secretary of Transport, Vice President of the CNCA (Committee of air transport users).
